Description
Made of stainless steel, therefore designed never to rust, bend or break, this kimblewick has a low port mouth. The kimblewick action is similar to that of a pelham with rein connectors, in other words it has minimal leverage. It is used with one rein and is a popular bit for ponies or horses with inexperienced riders. The low port allows space for the horse’s tongue but also applies pressure to the roof of the horse’s mouth.
